Qualifications

• Must hold valid Alabama certificate in administration supervision or teacher leadership.
• Minimum of five years successful teaching experience.
• Experience in curriculum development.
• Experience in conducting workshops and teacher training.
• Excellent communication skills with an emphasis in best practices.
• Proficient in computer usage.
• Alternatives as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and updating Alabaster City’s Courses of Study and Curriculum Guides.
• Assist in evaluation, development, and improvement of course content, curriculum, and instructional activities.
• Assist in the publication and training of instructional-related staff development, including new teacher orientation and in-service training.
• Serve as site leader, coach, and mentor.
• Assist with school-wide testing programs.
• Assist in data collection and analysis.
• Be regular and punctual in attendance.
• Maintain confidentiality of any Board of Education related business.
• Assume other responsibilities and duties that might be reasonably assigned.
