Job summary

The Ascendancy Group in the United States seeks an experienced NSWG-1 Professional Development and Readiness Coordinator and Tactical Ground Mobility Specialist to synchronize and track training pipelines across seven component commands. You will coordinate training like UAS/UUV/USV, TGM, FPV, manage registrations, and maintain detailed records.

Responsibilities include budgeting, logistics, and portal administration for Navy/DoD training systems, with a SECRET clearance required.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years relevant experience, including 2+ recent years supporting NSW/SOF.
  • Knowledge of NSW FRTM, IDTC, and SOF training pipelines.
  • Experience with military training databases CeTARS, CANTRAC, ATRRS, NLEAD, and JLLS.
  • Experience managing SharePoint training portals, rosters, prerequisites, and schedules.
  • Experience supporting training logistics, equipment, personnel, and vendor oversight.
  • Proficiency with DTS/JTR, including ODTA-Level 0 and Non-DTS Entry Agent Level 5.
  • Experience managing training budgets, expenditures, and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of military instructional/training development standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, tracking, and coordination.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to qualify to operate FOSOV/vendor vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • TRAINING COORDINATION, SCHEDULING, AND REGISTRATION: Coordinate and schedule NSW and specialized military training, including UAS/UUV/USV, TGM, and FPV courses.
  • Manage student registration and enrollment across six Echelon IV commands.
  • Maintain accurate training records, requirements, schedules, and gear lists.
  • Coordinate with Naval Special Warfare commands and serve as the primary training information POC.
  • Monitor training schedules and adjust pathways to meet changing operational requirements.
  • Provide prerequisite guidance and draft waiver/exception requests for government approval.
  • LOGISTICS AND TACTICAL GROUND MOBILITY (TGM) SUPPORT: Coordinate logistics and training rosters for contracted courses.
  • Coordinate safety resources, including medical personnel, mechanics, and vehicles.
  • Manage transportation, staging, and accountability of training equipment and supplies.
  • Inspect training assets and verify equipment readiness and storage integrity.
  • Conduct offsite site visits and monitor vendors for contract/PWS compliance.
  • Maintain authorization to operate special operations and vendor vehicles at training locations.
  • INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND PORTAL ADMINISTRATION: Design and maintain the NSWG-1 Schools Portal and ensure training information is accurate and current.
  • Manage training records, student registrations, rosters, schedules, and prerequisites across Navy/DoD training systems.
  • Maintain a central database of individual qualifications across assigned courses.
  • Securely manage student feedback, critiques, and AARs.
  • Analyze completed training and document lessons learned in JLLS to improve future training.
  • BUDGETARY TRACKING: Track and manage the tactical ground mobility training budget.
  • Monitor expenditures, obligations, and projections.
  • Provide weekly budget status reports to leadership to ensure fiscal compliance.
  • STUDENT TRAVEL SUPPORT (DEFENSE TRAVEL SYSTEM - DTS): Manage DTS travel orders and support student travel for contracted courses.
  • Maintain required DTS credentials and training while adhering to government approval limitations.
  • Coordinate CONUS/OCONUS travel arrangements and liaise with commercial travel offices.
  • Track and reconcile travel claims, expenditures, advances, and liquidations.
  • Maintain accurate DTS personnel profiles and travel documentation.
  • Support the Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) program, including records and monthly reporting.
  • Identify and report travel/DTS discrepancies to appropriate government personnel.

Overview

As the NSWG-1 Professional Development and Readiness Coordinator and Tactical Ground Mobility Specialist you will be responsible for the routine synchronization, coordination, and tracking of training pipelines across NSWG-1’s seven component commands.

Security Requirement:
  • The Contractor shall possess an active SECRET security clearance upon commencement of the task order and maintain it throughout the period of performance.
