NE&C Windows and Doors Limited is seeking a Production Manager to lead the aluminium department, ensuring safety, quality and on-time output. Responsibilities

• Supervise daily aluminium production activities within the aluminium department, ensuring an efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules, deadlines and output targets.
• Maintain high manufacturing and quality standards while ensuring production activities comply with relevant safety requirements and industry regulations.
• Lead, train, mentor and evaluate production staff, supporting their development and promoting strong performance, teamwork and safe working practices.
• Optimise production processes, identify opportunities to reduce waste and implement continuous improvements that enhance productivity, efficiency and product quality.
• Monitor equipment functionality and carry out basic mechanical troubleshooting where required to minimise disruption to production.
• Conduct regular inspections of the production environment to maintain appropriate standards of cleanliness, organisation, safety and compliance.
• Work closely with the installation team and other departments to coordinate priorities, meet daily deadlines and resolve operational issues.
• Maintain accurate production records and monitor key measures including output levels, efficiency and waste management.

SALARY: £36,000 to £44,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Benefits

JOB OVERVIEW

Working as the Production Manager you will take day-to-day responsibility for the aluminium department, ensuring production runs efficiently while maintaining quality standards, production targets and safe working practices.

This is a hands-on Production Manager role where you will lead and train the production team, optimise workflows, minimise waste and monitor performance while promoting continuous improvement across productivity and quality.

Working collaboratively with the installation team and other departments, the Production Manager will help ensure deadlines are achieved, operational issues are resolved effectively and production processes continue to improve.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Production Manager include:

• Production Management and Scheduling: Supervise daily production activities within the aluminium department, ensuring an efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules, deadlines and output targets.
• Quality and Compliance: Maintain high manufacturing and quality standards while ensuring production activities comply with relevant safety requirements and industry regulations.
• Team Leadership and Development: Lead, train, mentor and evaluate production staff, supporting their development and promoting strong performance, teamwork and safe working practices.
• Workflow and Efficiency Improvement: Optimise production processes, identify opportunities to reduce waste and implement continuous improvements that enhance productivity, efficiency and product quality.
