Working patterns are flexible within a 0600–0930 window, Monday to Friday, with potential shifts to cover 24/7 service needs and bank holidays. Basic PCA is required before an unconditional offer.

• Carry out cleaning, decontamination and related tasks across stations and sites to meet cleanliness and infection prevention standards.

• Maintain cleaning material stocks and record daily activities; handle urgent spillages and deep cleaning as required.
• Log activities using basic IT tools (emails, timesheets).

Fleet Ancillary Premise Cleaner - Halifax | Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust

Yorkshire Ambulance Service: Ancillary Services Team, are offering an opportunity for a Optional shift 16 hours per week, Premise Cleaner at our Halifax Ambulance Station.

Monday -Friday between 0600 and 0930, (Specific working pattern to be agreed)

Working days and times are dependent upon provision required, due to the Yorkshire Ambulance Service being a 24/7 Emergency Service.

Allocated Bank Holiday working maybe required.

A very basic Physical Capability Assessment (PCA) is mandatory to this role, prior to any unconditional offer of employment.

Duties will include Station/Site Cleaning:

To undertake cleaning, decontamination, and other associated tasks to meet the high standards of cleanliness and Infection Prevention andControl measures required across our stations and sites.

To ensure that all activities are performed in line with the Trust Cleaning Protocols, procedures, and specific daily work schedules.

Achieving and maintaining all required standards of cleanliness across the organization. Our cleaning schedules include entrances and foyers, public and staff washrooms/toilets, kitchens, canteens/restaurant’s, gym's, shower rooms, training rooms, corridors, stairs, landings, lifts, offices, contact centres, storerooms, dirty utility rooms, crew rooms, external areas, and other associated areas.

To ensure adequate stocks of cleaning materials are maintained and to record all daily activities. This will include urgent spillage and ad-hock cleaning and deep cleaning as requested or where identified.

Use of basic IT; access and inputting of information is essential. For example: Emails and time sheets.
