Job summary

Smart Solutions (Recruitment) Limited is seeking an experienced Weighbridge Operative to join a busy waste and recycling facility in Uxbridge. You will operate the weighbridge, record vehicle movements accurately and ensure waste documentation is checked and completed correctly.

Role offers Monday to Friday with regular Saturday work and long-term opportunity. Salary is £15.00 per hour, with scope for overtime. This position requires strict adherence to health and safety procedures.

Smart Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Weighbridge Operative to join a busy waste and recycling facility in Uxbridge.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the site weighbridge, accurately recording vehicle movements and ensuring all relevant waste documentation is checked and completed correctly.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the weighbridge and record all incoming and outgoing vehicle movements
• Check waste documentation and issue weighbridge tickets
• Direct drivers to the correct tipping and loading areas
• Maintain accurate records and complete general administration
• Liaise with drivers, transport teams and site operatives
• Report discrepancies, non-conforming loads and operational issues
• Follow all site Health & Safety and waste management procedures
• Ensure weighbridge operations are completed accurately and efficiently
