Job summary

Serco Limited is seeking a part-time Cleaner at The Rebecca Adlington Centre, Mansfield, NG19 7BZ. The role runs 16 hours per week across early morning shifts (Mon/Wed/Fri 6am–10am, Sat 6:30am–10:30am). You will maintain high cleanliness standards to ensure a welcoming space for visitors and staff.

• Experience in a cleaning role or the ability to demonstrate the skills required to succeed in this position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of cleaning throughout the building at all times.
• Carry out cleaning duties safely, following all health and safety procedures and COSHH requirements.
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete all required checklists accurately.
• Report any cleaning issues, maintenance concerns, or areas requiring attention to the appropriate manager.
• Monitor cleaning stock levels and notify the line manager when replenishment is needed.
• Inspect, use, clean, and store cleaning equipment safely, while contributing to good housekeeping and sustainability practices.

Vetting and checks

A Standard DBS check will be carried out for this position. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands, and warnings as permitted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act.
