Job summary

Potens is seeking a Waking Night Support Worker to join our team at Newbold Road, Chesterfield. You will provide night-time care to adults with diverse needs, supporting personal, physical and emotional well-being in a 6-on/8-off pattern, Friday to Wednesday on alternating weeks.

The role offers development through internal leadership sessions and recognised qualifications, with potential to complete your care certificate and access additional employee benefits.

Responsibilities

• Waking nights 9pm to 7am, and shift pattern will be 6 nights on, 8 nights off - shifts will run Friday to Wednesday every other week.
• Supporting with personal, physical, and emotional needs throughout the night.
• Completion of nightly duties, including domestic and administrative tasks.
• Taking part in the chosen activities of the people we support.
• Undertaking training online and face to face where necessary.

Newbold Road is a large, spacious house with one flat and eight en-suite bedrooms in the heart of Chesterfield.

You will be working to support adults with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, non-verbal communication, challenging behaviours, and or autistic spectrum disorders.
