Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Senior Care Assistant – Nights for Priory Court Care Home in Stamford. You will work with the care team to deliver compassionate personal care, maintain safety, and support residents’ wellbeing.

Ideal candidates will have NVQ Level 3 in care and at least two years’ experience in a similar setting. DBS clearance will be arranged and eligibility to work in the UK must be shown.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 (Care in care homes) or equivalent.
  • 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, caring, and inclusive environment.
  • Support residents with daily living, including medications as required.
  • Assist with monthly evaluations and staff development where needed.
  • Act as a key point of contact for residents, relatives and professionals.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to

support

and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open,

supportive

inclusive

environment for residents, visitors and staff

.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

  • Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
  • Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
  • Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
  • Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
  • Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.
