Job summary

North Yorkshire Centre for Independent Living in Scarborough is seeking one or two Personal Support Assistants to provide companionship and guidance to a young Autistic man for 7 hours on Saturdays or alternate Saturdays, with occasional Sundays and additional hours during the week. The role is on-site, part-time, with up to 30 hours weekly from 9am to 5pm, and a pay rate of £13.79 per hour.

1 or 2 Support Worker(s) are required to offer companionship, support and guidance to a young Autistic man for 7 hours every or alternate Saturday's, occasional Sunday's plus some additional hours during the week are available.

Duty: companionship and to take him to his chosen activity such as the cinema, bowling, car boot sales & shopping. There could be some paid weekends away with the young man. There is no personal care involved.

There are up to 30 hours week available from 9am till 5 pm.

The rate of pay is £13.79 per hour

A DBS, references are required and a full UK driving Licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this position.
