Royal Mail is seeking a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician at HuntingdonWorkshop on a permanent contract, with the potential to earn up to £58k including overtime.

You will diagnose, inspect and repair a range of vehicles, using your own toolkit, in a modern, well-equipped workshop, with opportunities for training and development to advance your career.

Qualifications

• Level 3 advanced qualification in Light or Heavy vehicle or equivalent.
• Own toolkit for standard repairs.
• Flexibility to work a shift rota.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repair on a range of vehicles, trailers and equipment.

We’re recruiting a Level 3 qualified mechanic at HuntingdonWorkshop on a Permanent contract, with the potential to earn up to £58k including overtime.

Working Hours: Full time

• - 14:24, week 2: 13:36
• - 22:00). You will be required to work 1 in 3 Saturdays (with a weekday day off)
• - 22:00.

• - You’ll perform a full range of inspections, diagnostic, maintenance, and repair procedures on a range of vehicles, trailers, and mechanical equipment.
• - You’ll use your own personal toolkit to undertake routine maintenance and repair light / heavy goods vehicles.
• - You’ll also have access to specialist tooling and shared equipment in our modern, fully equipped workshops.

A bit about you

• - Qualified mechanic: you’re fully qualified to an advanced level (Level 3 in Light or Heavy vehicle or equivalent). You’ve got your own toolkit for standard repairs.
• - Varied vehicle experience: Proven Vehicle Technician experience working on a wide range of vehicles, for example LCV.
• - Valid UK driving licence: You hold a full manual UK driving licence.
• - High working standards: you take pride in your work and do what is necessary to make sure the job is done effectively.
• - Flexible to service demands: you’re able to work on a flexible shift rota. You’re always willing to support your team where necessary.
