Job summary

Ceredigion County Council is seeking a Grounds, Outdoor & Maintenance Operative to undertake a range of grounds maintenance duties, including grass cutting, hedge work, pruning and flower bed upkeep. You will assist with inspections and maintenance of play areas and support cleansing tasks across markets and recreation grounds.

Responsibilities include litter collection, bin emptying, sweeping and general area cleansing, contributing to the upkeep of council facilities.

Job description

GROUNDS, OUTDOOR & MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE

To undertake grounds maintenance duties, including the use of grass cutting and mowing equipment, hedge cutting, strimming, pruning, watering, weeding, and ornamental flower bed maintenance. Assisting with inspections and maintenance of all play areas.

Duties will also include cleaning tasks such as litter picking, emptying bins, sweeping, and general cleansing of areas, as well as supporting work on the charter market, recreation grounds, and other facilities.
