Job summary

First4Homecare Ltd. is seeking care professionals to support adults living independently in their own homes around Gloucester. No previous experience required, with full training provided and flexible shifts that can suit mornings, evenings, or weekends.

Visit clients for 30 minutes to 2 hours, providing meals, light cleaning, medication support, grooming and companionship to help them stay safe at home. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.

• Legal right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Visit clients in their homes around Gloucester, usually for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
• Deliver personal support: meals, light cleaning, medication support, grooming and hygiene.

• Help clients live independently at home and maintain safety.
• Occasionally assist with shopping and doctor appointments.
• Work as part of a care team with office support.

We are looking for EXPERIENCED --AND-- NEW CARERS to join our expanding team to support our clients (adults) to live independently in their own homes across Gloucester, Gloucestershire.

Your Role:

• Decide to work full or part-time.
• Visit clients in their homes in and around Gloucester, usually for 30 minutes, up to 2 hours at a time.
• Deliver personal support to them, such as meal prep, light domestic cleaning, medication support, grooming and hygiene.
• Provide companionship and emotional reassurance
• Help them to live independently at home instead of having to move to a care home
• Maintain safety and comfort at home for them
• Occasionally, provide shopping and Dr appointment assistance
• Most clients are elderly
• Work as part of a care team, supported by a full-time office (some appointments are two carers at a time)
