Trove Home Care in Gloucester, VA is seeking a compassionate caregiver for part-time, in-home support. You will assist clients to maintain independence and comfort with activities of daily living and personalized care plans.

Responsibilities include transportation, meal prep, light housekeeping, and documentation. Certification in CNA/PCA/HHA is preferred; drivers license and reliable transportation are required.

Job description

• Tuesday and Friday schedule (9:00 AM–4:00 PM)

Our caregivers provide one-on-one, in-home support to help clients maintain their independence, comfort, and quality of life. Services range from companionship to non-medical personal care based on each client's individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

Caregivers may assist with a variety of daily living activities, including:

• Transportation to appointments or errands
• Medication reminders
• Meal preparation and light cooking
• Light housekeeping and household tasks

Caregivers with appropriate certifications (CNA, PCA, or HHA) may also provide hands-on personal care, including:

• Assistance with dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Feeding assistance
• Mobility and ambulation support
• Bathing assistance
• Transfers (bed to chair and chair to bed)
• Toileting and incontinence care

Qualifications

• CNA, PCA, or HHA certification highly preferred
• At least 6 months of professional or personal caregiving experience preferred
• Strong communication skills with clients, families, and team members
• Valid driver's license and active auto insurance required
• Ability to follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation
