Job summary

The Nelson Trust is a charity dedicated to supporting people whose lives have been affected by substance use, multiple disadvantages, and the criminal justice system. We are looking for an experienced and qualified Family & Systemic Psychotherapist to join our Family Focus Team in Gloucestershire.

  • Experience delivering systemic family psychotherapy with children, adults and families.
  • Eligibility for DBS checks and safeguarding requirements.

  • Undertake assessments and deliver systemic family psychotherapy sessions.
  • Work with the Clinical Lead to assess referrals and determine service suitability.
  • Coordinate with Pod teams, partner agencies and stakeholders for service delivery.
  • Attend child protection conferences and prepare reports as required.
  • Support family weekend seminars and contribute to staff induction and training.
  • Maintain client records and contribute to governance and evaluation activities.

Family & Systemic Psychotherapist (Female Only)

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Family & Systemic Psychotherapist to join our Family Focus Team in Gloucestershire. This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver systemic family psychotherapy, support families experiencing complex challenges, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for children, adults and families.

Hours: 21 hours per week

Location: Gloucestershire

What will you do

Undertake assessments and deliver systemic family psychotherapy sessions.

Work closely with the Clinical Lead to assess referrals and determine the suitability of services

Liaise with Pod teams, partner agencies and stakeholders to coordinate effective service delivery

Attend child protection conferences and prepare reports for social care and court proceedings as required

Support the planning and delivery of family weekend seminars and contribute to staff induction and training

Maintain accurate client records, contribute to service evaluation activities, and uphold clinical governance standards
