Job summary

Titan Recruitment Solutions is seeking experienced or newly qualified Class 2 HGV Drivers to join a busy furniture delivery operation in Rochester. The role offers full-time work with a genuine opportunity to secure a permanent position and involves delivering flat pack furniture to customers as part of a two-person crew.

Starting between 04:00 and 06:00, you’ll face a physically active day with lifting and customer service at each delivery.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Reliable and professional approach to work.
• Comfortable with physical delivery work and manual handling.
• Newly passed Class 2 Drivers welcome.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle.
• Work as part of a two-person delivery crew.
• Deliver flat pack furniture directly to customers.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods.
• Carry out lifting and manual handling duties safely.
• Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
• Provide excellent customer service at all delivery locations.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Follow all road transport legislation and company procedures.
• Maintain a professional and reliable approach at all times.

Titan Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for Class 2 HGV Drivers to join a busy furniture delivery operation based in Rochester.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified Class 2 Drivers looking for full-time work with a genuine opportunity to secure a permanent position.

Working as part of a two-person delivery crew, you will be responsible for delivering flat pack furniture directly to customers. This is a physically active role involving lifting and carrying, alongside providing excellent customer service at every delivery location.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• Minimum of 48 hours per week
• Start times between 04:00am and 06:00am

Responsibilities:

Assessment Process:

Assessment slots are available as soon as possible, with immediate starts available for successful candidates.

The assessment will include:

Driving assessment.

Drug and alcohol test.

Working Time Directive test.

£18.25 per hour.

Monday to Friday working pattern.

Minimum of 48 hours per week.

Start times between 04:00am and 06:00am.

Temp to Perm opportunities.
