VetJobs in Cranberry Township, PA is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and analyze reactor mechanical components and primary system supports. You will perform ASME and AISC calculations and develop designs and documentation for new-build and upgrade projects.

You will coordinate with internal teams, project managers, customers and vendors, provide on-site support as needed, and lead design and analysis work for smaller projects.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Understanding of design drawings and calculation summaries.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze reactor mechanical components and primary system supports.
• Perform calculations using ASME and AISC standards.
• Develop designs and documentation for new-build and upgrade projects.
• Coordinate with internal teams, project managers, customers and vendors.
• Provide on-site plant or vendor support as needed.
