Job summary

Scoot Education is seeking compassionate classroom support professionals to supervise and assist students across classrooms, playgrounds, and cafeterias. You will help create a safe, inclusive learning environment and promote active student participation throughout the day.

The role emphasizes following prepared lesson plans, maintaining classroom routines, and clear communication with school staff. Prior teaching exposure and a credential or 30‑Day Substitute permit are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, associate’s degree or college credits required.
• Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor.
• State & federal background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support students in the classroom, playground, or cafeteria.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment; encourage student engagement.
• Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions following the teacher’s plans.
• Communicate clearly with school staff and leave notes for the returning teacher.

Daily Pay Range:

Pay will vary for day-to-day assignments and is typically more for long-term placements. Pay varies by certification, school, and assignment.
