Job summary

SFI New Jersey is seeking a Reach Truck Operator to join our warehouse team in New Jersey. This role safely operates a reach truck to move, stack, retrieve, and organize materials in a busy facility, with occasional general warehouse duties such as picking, packing, sorting, or loading.

The ideal candidate has prior reach truck experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and teamwork. Overtime and weekend hours may be required to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Prior Reach Truck Operator experience is required.
• Deadline and detail-oriented.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products.
• Operating a Reach Truck to move materials and various products throughout the facility.
• Reads production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as size, type, or product code.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.
