RECEIVER Freezer Warehouse - 3rd shift - Full Time

Summary: Drives gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric powered industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices such as forklifts, booms, scoops, lift beams, swivel hooks, fork grapples, clamps, elevating platforms, or trailer hitches to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials. Responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift, receiving products from the dock, and stocking them appropriately.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Move levers and press pedals to drive the truck and control the lifting apparatus.
  2. Position forks, lifting platforms, or other devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, boxes, or materials and transport to designated areas.
  3. Unload and stack materials by raising and lowering the lifting device.
  4. Load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
  5. Conduct pre-trip inspections and report malfunctions.
  6. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
  7. Cross Training: Required for pallet jack functions.
  8. Reference RFS computer and/or printouts for stocking pallets.
  9. Follow attendance and safety policies.
  10. Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
  • Ability to apply common sense and deal with standard situations.
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management System (Triceps), VLM Time System, Forklift RF unit, Triceps scan station.
  • Must pass forklift certification and operate forklift.
  • Must be 18 years or older.

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Exposure to cold environments, moving mechanical parts, fumes, loud noise; ability to lift up to 80 pounds, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks.
