Job summary

Vistar is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. You will operate material handling equipment, including forklift and pallet jack, to move freight from receiving to inventory and support efficient distribution processes.

Responsibilities include locating slots on racks, replenishing pick slots, rotating stock, and ensuring safety and GMP compliance. You must be able to work a schedule that includes Sundays and weekdays, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work scheduled times and overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; able to lift 10–35 lbs and up to 60–90 lbs.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment, including forklift and pallet jack.
• Locate proper slots on storage racks and place pallets.
• Transport incoming freight to inventory and replenish pick slots.
• Rotate stock to front of rack and remove outdated inventory.
• Disperse over-stocked items and handle pallets and packing materials.
• Follow safety policies and complete necessary checklists and paperwork.
