Job summary

Vistar in Arlington, TX is seeking a Forklift Operator, Formula to support our distribution operations. You will operate stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks to move, store, and replenish inventory across cold, freezer, and dry areas, ensuring GMP and safety standards.

Responsibilities include locating slots, counting incoming freight, replenishing pick slots, rotating stock, and performing safety checks. We value reliability and ability to work early shifts with a team-focused approach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 1+ years of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• 1+ years of stand-up forklift experience.
• Must be able to operate stand-up forklift.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Locates proper slot on storage racks and sets pallets in place with forklift or hand stack items.
• Counts incoming freight in staging area and transports to freezer with forklift/pallet jack.
• Replenishes pick slots with outgoing stock items according to next day work orders.
• Rotates date-sensitive stock to the front of the rack and removes outdated inventory per policy.
• Disperses over-stocked items to available slots for temporary storage.
• Inspects pallets for damage and moves them to the proper storage area.
