Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a Reach Truck Operator to manage pallet movement, loading, and storage in a fast-paced warehouse in Maryland. You will follow FEFO/FIFO, rotate stock, and ensure safety and quality as part of daily dock and production support.

The role follows a day shift from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays off. Qualified candidates will have forklift experience and a high school diploma, with a starting wage aligned to Maryland pay practices.

Qualifications

• Experience operating standup counterbalance forklift or reach truck preferred.
• General high school degree, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Receiving: unload and stage inbound pallets for QA inspection and receiving; ensure proper labeling and rotation.
• Production support: verify items issued to production against lists; keep drop zones stocked and organized.
• Shipping: load outbound pallets, complete load diagrams, and ensure trailer safety before pickup.
• Organize warehouse: rotate stock, maintain proper locations, keep aisles and bays organized.
• Support other warehouse functions: assist with any task to deliver finished goods to customers; follow SOPs.
