Job summary

Home Chef in California is seeking a Reach Truck Operator on 2nd shift (4:00 PM to 12:30 AM) with Sundays and Mondays off. The role focuses on moving pallets, FEFO/FIFO, loading, and outbound shipments while following SOPs and food safety standards.

You will rotate pallets, scan, QA, and organize the dock, supporting receiving, production, and shipping, ensuring a tidy, safe warehouse and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous experience using standup counterbalance forklift / reach truck preferred.
• General high school degree, or equivalent, (e.g. GED).

Responsibilities

• Receiving: unload inbound trailers, stage pallets for QA, rotate stock and maintain dock organization.
• Production Support: verify issued products against drop lists and keep production drop zones stocked and clean.
• Shipping: secure outbound trailers, identify pallets, complete load diagrams and keep dock clear.
• Organize Warehouse: rotate older products, ensure proper storage locations, replenish selection/pick positions.
• Support other Warehouse functions: assist with any warehouse task to deliver finished goods.
• General Responsibilities: follow safety procedures, GMPs, an equipment sign-off process, support SQF and quality programs.
