Staffmark in Romeoville, IL is seeking a Reach Truck Operator to safely operate reach trucks and EPJs, moving inventory and supporting order fulfillment in a busy warehouse.

The ideal candidate has experience with reach trucks, works safely, and can handle a fast-paced environment. Pay ranges from $19 to $21 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule; overtime may be required.

Experience Requirements

• Experience operating reach trucks or similar powered industrial equipment.
• Ability to safely move, stack, retrieve, and organize palletized inventory.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and material handling practices.
• Ability to accurately identify products, inventory locations, and shipping documentation.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and inventory accuracy.
• Must be able to use operate Reach/EPJ.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed, occasional weekends.
• Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions well.
• High attention to detail required.
• Must have the ability to work well with others with little supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience operating reach trucks in distribution centers or warehouse environments is preferred.
• Forklift certification or experience operating additional powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, or inventory software is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, dependability, and strong teamwork are well positioned for success as a Reach Truck Operator.
• 6 months – 1-year previous Reach/EPJ experience preferred.
• Experience using a RF scan gun

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 10 pounds when required.
• Ability to safely work in warehouse environments with elevated storage racks and moving equipment.
• Ability to maintain awareness of surroundings while operating powered industrial vehicles.Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time up to hours or more
• Must be able to lift lbs unassisted
