Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with 1 year Reach Truck experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems is preferred.

Description

The objective of this position is to exceed the customer’s expectation of service by assuring the safe transportation and delivery of food to customer locations, following company policies and procedures. This includes assuring shipment of temperature-controlled and undamaged products, maintaining proper counts of goods at customer locations, and ensuring inventory levels are FIFO in the customer locations.

Required Skills and Abilities

1. Must have Stand Up Reach Machine experience
2. Required to rotate stock
3. Fill pick slots
4. Put away all incoming frozen deliveries
5. Follow all safety requirements and policies

Physical Requirements

1. The ability to lift 25/50/80 pounds regularly
2. The ability to respond quickly to sounds
3. The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
4. The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
5. Must be 18 years or older
6. 1 year Reach Truck experience
7. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems and Radio Frequency
8. Must be able to work in a freezer environment
9. Safe and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of food products utilizing equipment and radio frequency equipment
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
11. Ability to pay close attention to details and meet deadlines

Accountabilities

1. Promote a safe work environment through personal actions
2. Load and unload trucks and containers using equipment provided in a safe and efficient manner
3. Check and count freight for accuracy and/or damage. Take inventory as needed
4. Direct product to the correct area in the warehouse
5. Report faulty equipment, damage to racks, and other safety hazards to the supervisor
