Job summary

NWF Group in Crewe is hiring experienced Reach Truck Drivers for a permanent night shift on a 4 on 4 off pattern (6pm–6am). You’ll move, check, and store stock, pick and pack orders, and ensure accurate documentation, while upholding health and safety standards.

The role offers weekly pay at £16.38 per hour, with enhanced overtime rates and various employee benefits across Boughey Distribution and the wider group.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a Reach Truck; refresher courses can be provided for expired licenses.
• Comfortable on your feet – hands-on role with lifting and carrying.
• Team player with a positive attitude toward work.
• Health & Safety conscious and aware of safe manual handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate Reach Trucks safely and efficiently, following health and safety protocols.
• Pick orders from lists and locate stock as required.
• Pack orders for dispatch and dispatch goods to customers.
• Complete paperwork and documents as required.
• Receive, check and store products from suppliers securely.
• Report shortages and damages to the Team Leader promptly.

Due to continued growth, we are growing our team in Crewe! We are looking to appoint experienced Reach Truck Drivers on a permanent contract working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, night shifts, 6pm to 6am!

Our Reach Truck Operatives work across a range of duties including but not limited to checking stock, goods and location controlling, picking and handballing.

Day to Day

• Operate Reach Truck’s in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
• Picking orders from pick lists and locate stock as and when required.
• Packing orders ready for dispatch.
• Dispatching goods to our customers.
• Completing all paperwork and documents as required.
• Receiving, checking and storing products from suppliers in a safe and secure manner.
• Report all shortages and damages found to the Team Leader immediately.
