Job summary

UNFI in Carlisle, a North America’s premier grocery wholesaler, is seeking a Reach Lift Operator to move products within the warehouse using a Reach Lift and place items in the correct slots. You’ll operate safely, replenish slots, verify product placement, and maintain area cleanliness while following HACCP/SQF guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Understanding of safety guidelines.
• Previous forklift experience.
• Good judgment when supervision may not be immediately available.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Inbound Office at the beginning of each shift for daily assignment and related sheets.
• Replenishes pick slots using the view or manual replenish screen to fill slots.
• Performs knockdowns for selectors as needed.
• Maintains correct counts and logs discrepancies in inventory.
• Verifies correct product placement in pick locations.
• Cuts and removes shrink wrap from knockdowns and removes empty pallets.
• Keeps area clean and free of debris; operates lift safely and efficiently.
