Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to support our Morristown, TN warehouse operations. You will operate material handling equipment to move freight to inventory and restock pick slots, ensuring GMP and safety standards are met.

The role emphasizes teamwork, productive workflow, and accuracy as you manage storage and transportation tasks in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; lift up to 60–90 pounds depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Locates proper slot on storage racks; sets pallets in place with forklift or hand stack items.
• Locates and counts incoming freight in staging area and transports to freezer with forklift/pallet jack.
• Replenishes pick slots with outgoing stock items according to next day’s work orders.
• Rotates date-sensitive stock to the front of the rack and removes outdated inventory per policy.
• Disperses over-stocked items to available slots for temporary storage.
• Inspects pallets and uses pallet jack or forklift to move items to storage areas.
