Job summary

Global Medical Response in California is seeking a Helicopter Air Ambulance (HAA) Pilot for a full-time opportunity in Auburn. This role requires high endurance, precision, and teamwork to transport patients safely and efficiently.

You will ensure aircraft readiness, maintain regulatory documents, and coordinate with dispatch, flight crews, and facilities. The package includes a highly competitive salary, a 15k sign-on bonus, retention bonuses, housing, and a 7/7 schedule.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours.
• 2,000 Helicopter Hours.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours.
• 1,000 Helicopter Hours?
• 1000 Turbine Helicopter Hours.
• 200 helicopter hours night hours aided or unaided.
• Minimum 100 cumulative hours of instrument flight time.
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per manuals and FAR/REACH requirements.
• Maintain REACH and regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for REACH changes.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

• Salary Range: $ 110,949- $ 122,044 including 25% Geographic Modifier
• 15K Sign-On Bonus, subject to eligibility
• Retention Bonus plans ($40,000 after 3 years plus additional retention bonuses once completed)
• 5K SPIFR Stipend
• 12K Area Float Pilot Stipend
• On Duty Housing
• 7/7 Schedule

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and REACH requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate REACH and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording A REACH change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training
