Legacy Turkey has Re-hanger - Chillroom 1st Shift roles available. These positions will operate and maintain machinery, package, label, box, cut product, and/or unrack product to ensure production standards are met, finalize products, and prepare these products for shipping. Located in Melrose, MN, Legacy Turkey employs many people in a variety of roles with varying levels of expertise. We hire individuals with a strong work ethic who align with our core values.

• Monday - Friday and weekends as needed; 8:30am-5pm
• Repetitive Motion, bending twisting, reaching, knife used and lift up to 35lb
• Pay Range: $21.03Per/HR

What you will do:

• Help us achieve our production goals through packaging, labeling, cutting, and boxing turkey products.
• Maintain a safe working environment for all employees by following all safety rules.
• Help ensure only safe, wholesome, quality products are produced for our customers by following all good manufacturing practices.
• Perform position-specific duties as assigned by your supervisor as needed.

What to expect:

• Work 8- to 10-hour shifts on concrete floors.
• Work in temperatures ranging from 32 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Perform repetitive motions such as twisting, turning, bending and reaching.
• Lift items up to 35 pounds.
• Wear a hair net, hard hat, ear protection, safety glasses, boots and/or other personal protective equipment.
• Work with large groups of people as a team.
