Role Overview:
The coordinator will serve as a regional HIRE Coordinator for IDOC’s Hoosier Initiative for Re-Entry (HIRE) program. They will provide workforce-readiness services to clients in assigned correctional facilities and parole districts, and lead employer engagement within their region. Key duties include conducting outreach to identify partners, developing and delivering program materials, marketing program initiatives, building relationships with community stakeholders, and promoting positive employer attitudes toward hiring HIRE clients. The coordinator will also strengthen partnerships with facilities and parole districts to support pre- and post-release employment. This region covers Parole District 5 and the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility.
This region covers the following Indiana counties: Monroe, Brown, Bartholomew, Lawrence, Jackson, Orange, Washington, Crawford, Perry, Harrison
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $47,320.00 but may be commensurate with education and work experience.

This position is exempt from overtime compensation for additional work hours which may be required to complete essential functions or other assigned work. Exempt employees may work more than 75 hours in a pay period without additional compensation and must report a minimum of 75 hours per pay period of work hours and/or paid leave taken to receive their base biweekly salary.
