Job summary

SkyChefs in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Facility Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and safety in a 24/7 operation. You will sweep, clean work areas, floors, walls and equipment, and empty trash in alignment with USDA/FDA/HACCP standards.

The role requires physical stamina to lift up to 30 lbs, stand for long shifts, and adaptability to shift bidding, nights, weekends and holidays. Training provided; full-time schedule. Compensation is $16.00/hour.

Qualifications

• Must have good organizational skills and adaptable to frequent changes.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs or push heavy loads using rolling stock.
• Able to work around moving parts/equipment & wet floors.
• Able to use fingers & hands to handle equipment.
• Stand for 8 hours a day.
• Work in hot and cold environments.
• Walk/stoop/bend/stand for entire shift.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays per shift bidding.

Description

Our Porters work in a 24/7 environment maintaining cleanliness standards in all areas of the facility. Responsible for sweeping & cleaning work areas, floors, walls, and equipment. Empties trash within the building. Must maintain sanitation standards in accordance with Company policy and USDA/FDA/HACCP regulations.

• Must be able to work around moving parts/equipment & wet floors

• Must be able to stand for 8 hours a day
• Must be able to work a hot and cold environment
• Must be able to walk/stoop/ bend/ stand for entire work shift
• Must be flexible to work in a 24/7 environment which includes nights, weekends and holidays subject to change due to shift bidding
