Job summary

LSG Sky Chefs is hiring a Facility Cleaner in Dulles, VA for full-time, permanent work. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness of offices, restrooms, storerooms, and production areas to support airline, e-commerce, and retail operations.

The pay rate is $18.80 per hour. Shift is 5:00pm–01:30am. Candidates must be 18+ and able to pass a background check and drug screen; union position with benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to lift 25+ pounds occasionally, 50+ pounds frequently & 10+ pounds consistently.
• Be able to stand for the FULL duration of the shift.
• Be available to work in a 38- degree cold room, as needed.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.

We are the world’s leading provider of end-to–end airline products and services with a fast growing footprint in Convenience Retail and Subscription Food Service.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness of work areas throughout the building (offices, restrooms, storerooms, and food production areas).
• Follow all health and safety regulations as set by the FDA and company sanitation standards.
• Dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming
• Cleaning smudges off windows and doors
• Ensuring restrooms are cleaned, sanitized, and restocked
• Washing walls and glass
• Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Coordinating with other Cleaners to keep the building clean
• Cleaning spills, broken glass and other messes up as quickly as possibleRefilling supplies, such as toilet paper and paper towels

Requirements and Skills

• Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines is a plus but not required.

• This is a Union Position- must be willing to pay union dues after 60 days
