Valcourt Building Services is seeking a Rope Descent System Certified Window Cleaning Technician to join our commercial cleaning team in New York. You will deliver exceptional window cleaning for high-rise properties using advanced equipment and a strong focus on safety.

Qualifications

• RDS certification for window cleaning operations.
• Experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial, or custodial roles focusing on window/high-rise cleaning.
• Ability to operate scissor lifts and elevated access equipment safely.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safety procedures for window washing.
• Physical stamina to work at heights and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough window cleaning on commercial buildings using industry-standard tools and techniques.
• Operate scissor lifts and other access equipment safely to reach high or difficult areas.
• Follow all safety guidelines, including harnessing and use of PPE.
• Conduct janitorial and custodial tasks to support building cleanliness.
• Prepare work sites by setting up scaffolding, ladders, or lifts, ensuring stability and safety.
• Maintain detailed records of completed jobs, safety inspections, and equipment usage.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to quality standards.
