Job summary

Aylo Health, LLC is seeking a Sonographer to perform ultrasound imaging and support diagnostic evaluation. The candidate will independently operate ultrasound equipment, prepare patients, and document results in EHRs while collaborating with radiology staff.

Qualified applicants have an ARDMS RDMS credential, 1–2 years’ experience, and strong knowledge of anatomy and pathology related to sonography. This on-site role requires excellent communication and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography/Ultrasound Technology from an accredited program.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential from ARDMS.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a Sonographer in clinical or outpatient settings.
• Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and PACS.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology as it relates to ultrasound imaging.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in performing ultrasound procedures.
• Compassionate, patient-centered care and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations including abdominal, pelvic, extremities, and other scans as ordered.
• Prepare and position patients; explain procedures to ensure comfort.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to acquire high-quality images per protocols.
• Review images in PACS and provide preliminary findings to physicians.
• Accurately document patient info, imaging results, and technical details in EHRs.
• Collaborate with physicians and radiologists to integrate results into care plans.
• Ensure equipment safety and report malfunctions; follow safety guidelines.
