Job summary

Aylo Health, LLC is seeking a skilled Sonographer to perform ultrasound imaging to support accurate diagnoses and patient care. The role requires independence, proficiency with ultrasound equipment, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

You will prepare patients, capture high-quality images, analyze findings with PACS, and document results in EHR systems while ensuring safety and compassionate patient interactions.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography/Ultrasound Technology from an accredited program.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential from ARDMS.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Sonographer, preferably in a clinical or outpatient setting.
• Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and PACS.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to ultrasound imaging.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Ultrasound Examinations: Perform diagnostic ultrasound/vascular procedures including abdominal, pelvic, extremities, and other scans as ordered.
• Patient Preparation: Prepare and position patients, explaining the process for comfort and understanding.
• Image Acquisition: Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images following protocols.
• Image Analysis: Use PACS to review images, document abnormalities, and provide preliminary findings.
• Documentation: Record patient information and imaging results in EHR, prepare detailed reports.
• Collaboration: Work with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare professionals to integrate results.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure equipment safety and report malfunctions.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines.
• Patient Care: Provide empathetic, professional care and address questions.
