Qualifications

• Completion of a CAHEA approved formal training program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• RDMS or registry eligible within 1 year of hire; advanced certs preferred.
• Proficient with Windows applications and data entry for patient records.
• Ability to communicate clearly with radiologists and patients.

Responsibilities

• Independently operate ultrasound equipment to complete imaging procedures per protocol.
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding and consent.
• Review images for diagnostic quality prior to transmission.
• Assist radiologists in guided procedures and manage departmental operations.
