Job summary

GeekSoft Consulting is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer in Englewood, CO to design, build, and continuously improve the client’s online platform. You will research and implement new technology solutions, focusing on resiliency and availability of multiple products.

Requirements include 5+ years in embedded software development within an RDK environment, strong C/C++ skills, Linux, and networking expertise.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in embedded software development within an RDK environment.
Strong expertise in RDK platforms, embedded C/C++ development, Linux systems, and networking technologies.
Develop, test, debug, and optimize embedded software for network devices and firmware.
Implement Wi-Fi functionalities, including Hostapd concepts, configurations, and security modes.

Responsibilities

Help design, build and continuously improve the client’s online platform.
Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards.
Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-performance embedded software.
