Job summary

Methodist Southlake Medical Center in Texas is seeking an Echocardiography Technologist to perform comprehensive echocardiograms including 2D, M-Mode, color Doppler, and stress echo under the supervision of the non-invasive cardiology team. The role requires meticulous technique and adherence to established standards.

Candidates should have an associate degree echo program or accredited training, and current BLS; RDCS/CCI certification preferred; on-call duties apply; hospital experience

Qualifications

Associate degree echo program or accredited training preferred.
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) certification required.
Experience with echocardiography equipment and EPIC system is preferred.

Responsibilities

Identify patients correctly and ensure safety during procedures.
Perform echocardiograms including 2D, M-Mode, color Doppler, and Doppler stress imaging.
Prepare worksheets for physician review and maintain accurate records.
Participate in department QA and mandatory education.
Prioritize STAT and routine orders and maintain equipment.
