Community Dental Partners is hiring a Registered Dental Assistant to support the dentist during treatments and discussions with patients. You will perform general RDA duties in collaboration with the team, delivering quality customer service while maintaining professional relationships and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Texas Issued Registered Dental Assistant Licensing.
• Sealant Placement, Nitrous Monitoring and Coronal Polishing certifications preferred if 2+ years experience.
• Digital x-ray and Digital Charting experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for exams, completing digital charting and verifying codes with precision.
• Capture quality x-ray images.
• Assist dentist with a variety of treatment procedures.
• Setting up and sterilizing exam and treatment rooms.
• Discussing treatment options, importance and follow up recommended care.
• Providing teeth polishing and sealant placement procedure (with required certifications).
• Supporting with patient treatment appointment scheduling as requested.
• Sterilizing instruments and following cross contamination standards.
• Creating positive and uplifting patient environments by patient engagement before, during and after visits.
• Guiding parents and patients through post-care instructions.
• Assisting patients with company-provided prizes and dismissal.
• Understanding and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
