Community Dental Partners in Commerce, AL, is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support the Dentist during treatments, exams and patient discussions. You will perform general RDA duties in collaboration with the team, providing quality customer service and maintaining a positive professional environment.

The role involves taking digital X-rays, charting, sterilization, and assisting with a variety of procedures.

Qualifications

• Must hold Texas Registered Dental Assistant license.
• Sealant placement, nitrous monitoring and coronal polishing certifications preferred if 2+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for exams; complete digital charting and verify codes.
• Capture quality x-ray images.
• Assist dentist with a variety of treatment procedures.
• Set up and sterilize exam and treatment rooms.
• Discuss treatment options and follow-up care.
• Provide teeth polishing and sealant placement (certs required).
• Schedule patient treatment appointments as requested.
• Sterilize instruments and follow cross-contamination standards.
• Engage patients to create a positive environment.
• Explain post-care instructions to patients/parents.
