PDS Health is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) at Bloomington Smiles Dentistry in Bloomington, MN. You will assist the dentist, maintain a clean and compliant clinical environment, and support patient education and experience.

Responsibilities include taking x-rays, intra-oral photos, and following safety regulations while delivering high-quality care. A high school diploma or GED is required; an associate degree or certificate is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• State-mandated certifications/licensure or registration.
• Associate degree or relevant certificate preferred or equivalent experience.
• Coronal polish and radiographic exposure certifications are required or mandated by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for best treatment with urgency.
• Participate in Perfect Patient Experience by focusing on patient needs and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and prepare patients for treatment.
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories per ADA guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulations.
