Job summary

Pacific Dental Services, LLC invites qualified Registered Dental Assistants to join San Jacinto Smiles Dentistry in California. The RDA supports the dentist with patient care, chairside assistance, and radiography while guiding patients through treatment options and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or GED with required state licensure, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with state-m mandated certification/licensure.
• Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by applicable state (e.g. coronal polish, radiograph exposure, etc).
• Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Actively participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by focusing on optimal treatment while addressing patient needs.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment; prepare patients for treatment and assist doctors for efficient care.
• At the direction of the dentist, complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures as appropriate.
• At the direction of the dentist, instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment per ADA guidelines.
• Maintain compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, etc).

Education

Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school; or equivalent education and experience
