Job summary

Pacific Dental Services, LLC is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant Extended Function (RDA-EF) in Florida to join Dentists at Big Bend. You will support the dentist and help guide treatment decisions while delivering a positive patient experience.

Apply chair-side skills, maintain a sterile operatory, educate patients with intra-oral images, and ensure compliance with safety and ADA guidelines in a fast-paced practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; state licensing/registration as applicable.
• Associate degree or a one-year certificate preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 10 pounds and perform routine dental assisting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per the state's permitted responsibilities (Dental Auxiliaries Table).
• Promote the Perfect Patient Experience by maintaining urgency and focus on best treatment.
• Attend to patient concerns and expectations.
• Maintain a clean, sterile operatory and prepare patients for treatment; assist dentists.
• Record patient health history and treatment notes; educate on postoperative care.
• Prepare tray setups, present instruments, and sterilize/disinfect instruments per ADA guidelines.
• Escort patients to/from front desk and coordinate with Continuing Care Clerk.
• Maintain adequate supply levels and uphold professional appearance and policy compliance.
