Job summary

PDS Health in Folsom, CA is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support dentists in patient care, radiography, and lab duties. You will help prepare patients, take x-rays, and assist with treatment while maintaining a clean, sterile, and friendly clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED with state-mandated training.
• Certifications/licenses required by applicable state (e.g. radiograph exposure).
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for treatment with urgency.
• Participate in creating the Perfect Patient Experience by addressing patient needs and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment; prepare patients for treatment and assist doctors.
• Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care as directed.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories per ADA guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, etc.).
