Indiana University Health is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist to deliver customer-facing services within the Revenue Cycle System Services. The role includes scheduling, registration, insurance verification, prior-authorization, financial counseling, cashiering, release of information and high-quality customer service.
The position requires experience in hospital revenue cycle, strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a team.
Mon-Fri between the hours of 8a-7p, 40hrs a week.
Opportunity for hybrid/remote schedule after a 30-day onsite training period at the Revenue Cycle Shadeland office in Indianapolis. Must meet and maintain productivity standards. Wi-Fi must adhere to company's virtual/Wi-Fi policy.
This position is responsible for the delivery of customer facing services within Revenue Cycle System Services. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, scheduling, registration, insurance verification, prior-authorization, financial counseling/individual solutions, cashiering, release of information and customer service. Position adheres to departmental productivity, quality, and service standards in support of operational goals. Position is assigned higher complexity tasks than those expected from RCS-Associate and incumbents are held to higher productivity and quality standards.
