Hillside Heights Rehabilitation Center, part of Volare Health, LLC, seeks a Unit Manager to direct the daily functions of the Nursing Unit in line with federal, state and local standards, ensuring the highest quality care for residents. This role reports to the Director or Assistant Director of Nursing Services and requires a licensed RN with BLS and wound care experience.

Formación

• RN in good standing with a state license
• BLS Certification required
• Wound Care experience preferred
• Knowledge of general, rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices
• Familiarity with long-term care regulations and guidelines

Summary

The Unit Manager will direct the daily functions of the Nursing Unit in accordance with current federal, state and local standards governing long term care facilities, and as may be directed by the Director or Assistant Director of Nursing Services, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed by the State.
• BLS Certification.
• Wound Care experience.
• Knowledge of general, rehabilitative and restorative nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines governing long term care;
• Previous experience in a hospital, long term care facility, or other health care related facility required.
