We are looking for a Training Specialist to support our RCM staff by leading training sessions or developing curriculum to support team members in their roles.

The Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Training Specialist will conduct training for various RCM functions, including Accounts Receivable, Registration, Cash Management, Customer Service, and New Hire Onboarding. The role involves training on system applications like athenaIDX, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, etc., and assisting with process improvements to enhance efficiency. This position works closely with QA and operational teams to identify opportunities for improvement.

Note: US Anesthesia Partners does not currently hire candidates residing in New York, California, Hawaii, or Alaska.

Job Highlights

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and update curriculum for all RCM functions.
  2. Collaborate with Education & Development (E&D) manager to evaluate training effectiveness.
  3. Conduct and participate in company training programs.
  4. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling, distributing materials, and documentation.
  5. Work with leadership to identify training needs.
  6. Assist in implementing new systems and updates.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):

  1. Effective communication and ability to handle sensitive information.
  2. Leadership skills and the ability to evaluate trainee comprehension.
  3. Initiative, motivation, and adaptability to change.
  4. Professional communication skills across all management levels.
  5. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  6. Willingness to travel if needed.

Education/Training/Experience:

  1. Healthcare industry experience preferred, especially in physician practices.
  2. Experience with AthenaIDX is preferred.
  3. Knowledge of RCM for physician practices is a plus.
  4. 1-3 years of training experience or relevant healthcare experience.
  5. Basic computer skills required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged sitting, some physical activity.
  • Manual dexterity for office equipment.
  • Sufficient vision and hearing to operate systems and conduct training.
  • Typing speed of at least 35 wpm.

Working Conditions:

  • Remote or office environment.
  • Frequent communication with staff and organizations.
  • Potential stress and disruption in interactions.
