Job summary

Commure is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the RCM Core Backend Team, building the infrastructure powering our Revenue Cycle Management product. You will scale backend services, automate processes, and ensure reliability while partnering with Product and Ops to deliver high-value features.

You will guide a high-performance team, foster ownership, and push for architectural excellence in a fast-paced healthcare tech environment. This role is based in Mountain View, CA.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development in fast-scaling environments.
• 2+ years leading engineering teams, mentoring, and performance reviews.
• Ability to dive into code and solve problems alongside the team.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and ability to present technical concepts.
• Passion for healthcare innovation and patient care.
• Experience scaling teams of 8+ engineers.
• Proven delivery of platform-scale, reliable systems.
• Hands-on experience with Python, PostgreSQL and Kubernetes.
