RCIS provides insurance and superior services through leading agents to protect America’s farmers and ranchers. It has been an innovator in crop insurance since the privatization of the crop insurance business by the federal government in 1980. Today, it is one of the nation’s largest crop insurance providers, offering risk management protection across all 50 states through a network of about 4,000 trained and licensed agents.

We are currently seeking a Crop Field Service Representative to manage accounts in the state of Missouri. The role involves an estimated 50% travel. It is a work-from-home position with a company car provided. Candidates must reside within the territory.

The key responsibilities include:

  1. Driving profitable growth by selling a broad suite of solutions and managing existing accounts.
  2. Gaining in-depth knowledge of agents’ business models and creating strategic business plans.
  3. Managing holistic agent and customer value propositions to ensure profitable growth.
  4. Retaining business and expanding market share by enhancing customer experience.
  5. Educating agents on RCIS products and consulting on marketing strategies.
  6. Identifying opportunities for new or enhanced products and services.
  7. Training agents on RCIS products and software, including conducting training sessions.
  8. Analyzing processing and servicing issues, recommending solutions, and collaborating with departments.
  9. Ensuring regulatory compliance in processing business and establishing quality controls.
  10. Providing subject matter expertise and assisting in SOP development.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of sales experience, or
  2. High School Diploma or Equivalent with 8+ years of sales experience, or
  3. Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an Associate Degree and 6+ years of sales experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in the insurance industry.
  2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

At Zurich, compensation is influenced by various factors including location, role, skills, and experience. The salary range for this position is $81,300 to $133,000, with a 15% short-term incentive bonus potential. We encourage applicants with salary expectations outside this range to apply, as they will be considered based on their qualifications.
